Quick fixes for crafting compelling copy

Did you know the headline is the most read part of copy? To write effective headlines, be creative but concise. Keep 'em short and snappy and use active verbs. Try to use present tense, too.

Instead of - Local grocery chain is adding stores - try - Local grocery chain adds more stores.
Red and metallics are popular this design season - reads better as - Red, metallics shine
Business leaders from the community get together to discuss ways to increase business - better - Key business leaders strategize to increase local business
